Welcoming James And Siana To The Energise Team!
We are so excited to welcome two new junior analysts to the Energise team! Siana and James have brought a great attitude to their new roles, and we asked them a few questions to help understand their reasons for choosing to work at Energise, as well as how they like to spend their time outside of work:
What first made you interested in renewable energy?
James: My fascination with renewable energy started during my early studies in Electrical Engineering, where the imperative to address environmental challenges and reshape Australia’s energy landscape with renewable energy solutions became evident to me.
Siana: I was initially drawn to renewable energy due to my strong belief in its significance for the future. The opportunity to delve into the specialized realm of offshore wind particularly intrigued me, as it’s a new and rapidly evolving field.
What issues are important to you as you start your career and how will working with Energise support you in your career goals?
James: Commencing my career, I am passionate about contributing positively to the world by addressing sustainability challenges regarding the energy transition, making Energise an ideal fit to focus on renewable energy solutions. The company’s innovative approach and experienced team align perfectly with my career goals, offering a dynamic space to contribute meaningfully while advancing my professional career.
Siana: The prospect of contributing to a growing company aligns with my desire for professional development and the chance to grow alongside the company’s expansion further motivated my interest to work with Energise Renewables.
What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of work?
James: Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new places and experimenting in the kitchen. I am also a big sports fan with golf being my current obsession and over the last few years I have delved into winemaking as a growing interest.
Siana: I’m a Bachata and Salsa dancer, I also enjoy dancing Afro beats and Bollywood! I enjoy multicultural things 😀
