There has been significant interest from developers in the potential of offshore wind in both the Australian and New Zealand markets. The strong wind resources and vast coastlines in each country have led to over 20 different developers expressing a public interest in the Australia/New Zealand offshore wind market to date. As offshore wind projects continue to progress, and more state governments announce support for offshore wind, it is likely that more developers will be drawn to the offshore wind markets in Australia and New Zealand.
