Ørsted is a Danish multinational energy company that owns power production facilities and projects in Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom. Ørsted develops, constructs and operates onshore and offshore wind farms, as well as solar farms and energy storage facilities.
With over 30 years of experience in offshore wind, Ørsted is the world’s largest offshore wind developer. The company has installed 8.9 GW of offshore wind, including the 1.3 GW Hornsea 2 project in England. In addition to this, Ørsted has a further 13.3 GW of projects that are in construction or have already been awarded.
