Craig Wallis is the manager of project approvals; and community/ government engagement at Energise Renewables. Craig brings extensive project development/land strategy, acquisition and access; project and environmental approvals; and Work Health and Safety (WHS) management experience from fifteen (15) years with major renewable energy and mining companies, and in Regulation branches of both Commonwealth and State Governments, in a variety of leadership roles. Based in Perth, Western Australia, Craig has worked predominantly throughout Western Australia and holds key relationships with both public authorities and industry, which is pertinent to the successful development of large renewable energy projects. Craig has a strong interest in providing rural communities socio-economic opportunities in collaboration with government and industry.

Craig’s focus area is advising renewable energy clients on:

  • Develop and implement land, development, water and facility approvals strategies;
  • Develop and implement environmental approvals strategies;
  • Lead regulatory engagement on all key approvals;
  • Lead the successful delivery of regulatory approvals and environmental baseline and impact assessment studies programs;
  • Lead the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies including support to traditional owner engagement initiatives; and,
  • Support the land strategy, land use planning and access.
