Tim Carter joins Energise as Partner

5 June 2026 | Energise Renewables

Big news for Energise.

We’re excited to share that Tim Carter has joined the business as a Partner from 1 March.

This evolution in ownership reflects the direction we’re taking as a firm. We see a growing need for clear, pragmatic advice that helps bridge the gap between project ambition and environmental responsibility. Our focus will continue to be on supporting private proponents and government, with an increased emphasis on the environmental aspects of project development and delivery, ensuring projects are not only technically and commercially sound, but also robust from an approvals, environmental management, and social licence perspective.

Tim brings deep experience working at the interface between marine science, environmental impact assessment and regulatory decision making, with valuable perspective from his time as a regulator with NOPSEMA. His background gives him a strong understanding of both the technical and regulatory challenges facing offshore energy projects, an alignment that fits closely with how we support our clients.

We’re looking forward to building this next chapter together.
