Energise Renewables is a dynamic new consultancy within the clean energy space. Unique within the Australian and New Zealand context, Energise Renewables is an offshore wind consultancy which offers end-to-end project life-cycle expertise including project origination, development, construction, and operation.
Led by our three highly experienced founders – Jonas Jacobsen, Adam Thyboe, and Naomi Campbell – we have over 30 years of combined international offshore wind experience, 16 of which include Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific.
Australia boasts the sixth largest offshore wind technical resource potential in the world. Companies seeking to undertake offshore renewable energy infrastructure projects need a licence and the Federal Government is currently inviting licence applications in the Bass Strait off Gippsland, Victoria. In New Zealand, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment are currently developing the regulatory setting for offshore renewable energy which they expect to have in place by 2024. Consultation is currently open on the proposed approaches to enabling feasibility studies for offshore renewable energy developments.
