Jonas is an experienced leader specialising in the renewable energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. With experience as a Technical Development Director on Australia’s first offshore wind project, Jonas has unique insight into the Australian offshore wind supply chain as well as knowledge of technical delivery within the emerging APAC offshore wind sector. Jonas is a strategic leader who is highly adaptable. He has demonstrable skills in establishing agile project teams in novel, complex and ambiguous environments. Establishing and operating several subsidiaries in Asia and the Middle East, Jonas has most recently operated an Australian proprietary limited company for four years as a registered Company Director.

Jonas contributes the following key experience and skills to Energise Renewables:

  • 15 years in renewable energy including five years of offshore wind experience from Australia, Vietnam, Korea, India, Taiwan, and New Zealand. Projects included ChangFang & Xidao, ZhongNeng, LaGan, Star of the South Offshore Wind Farm, and Mid-West Offshore Wind Energy Project (Australia, WA)
  • Established and managed limited companies in Singapore, Qatar, Dubai, Taiwan, and Australia. Registered Company Director in Australia
  • Focus on technical development of all generation and transmission assets including grid connection and supporting infrastructure
  • Academic background in engineering and management
