Anastasia Makogon

Student Analyst

Anastasia works part-time at Energise Renewables while completing a Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Science (Global Challenges) at Monash University. For her Honours research, she is focusing on techno-economic modelling of renewable energy infrastructure for carbon capture technologies. Drawing on experience in both the energy sector and the carbon capture industry, she has developed strong commercial awareness and valuable insight into evolving market opportunities.

With a broad set of academic and professional experiences, Anastasia has developed a strong skill set:

  • Strong abilities in research, report writing, and communicating complex technical insights to diverse audiences.

  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and Excel for analysing energy, climate, and cost datasets to inform decision-making.

  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines while collaborating effectively across teams.
